Our Story
We work to conserve water and save you money, so you can enjoy a lawn that you love!
While working as an Irrigation Auditor and Water Conservation Specialist for the City of Dallas, Montie Koch worked with thousands of homeowners and identified three marks of a competent irrigation contractor:

- Gives clear communication regarding service, pricing, and improvements
To that end, Common Ground Irrigation was started. With over 30 years of experience in the irrigation industry, Common Ground Irrigation offers proficiency combined with modern sprinkler technologies in order to enhance your system’s performance and employ the best water conservation practices.

Irrigation Licensing
Irrigation licensing in Texas is required by state law. Anyone installing, repairing, designing, or consulting on an irrigation system is required to have a valid license. A valid license requires one to be trained and pass a state exam, to get Continuing Educational Credits, and to pass a criminal background check. TCEQ is the state regulatory agency responsible for regulation of the irrigation industry.
